◾Sailors: A person whose job it is to work as a member of the crew of a naval ship or boat, especially one who is below the rank of officer.

There are Two Categories of Sailors in Pak Navy

1.Technical Sailors 

2.Non Technical Sailors

1.Technical Sailors:Those who apply in technical branches an join various 

technical branches of Pak Navy like Operation branch.Marine Engineering branch,Logistic branch etc

2.Non Technical Branch:Those candidates who apply in Marines,Naval Police,Steward etc are considered as Non Technical Branches of Pak Navy.

Now lets disscuss Eligibility Criteria.

◾Branch: Technical

Educational Qualification: Matric (Science) with Minimum 65% marks

Age : 16 – 20 Years

Minimum Height: 5′ 4”

◾Branch: Marine

Educational Qualification: Matric (Science/Arts) with Minimum 60% marks

Age : 17 – 21 Years

Minimum Height: 5′ 6”

◾Branch: Naval Police

Gender: Male

Age: 16 to 20 years

Height: 5'7"

Qualification: Matric Science/Arts minimum 60% Marks

◾ Branch:Steward

Gender: Male/Female (Single)

Age: 16 to 20 years

Height: Male 5'.4'' (162.5 cm)

Female 5' (152.4 cm)

Qualification: Matric Science/Arts minimum 50% Marks

◾Branch: Mechanical Transport Driver (MTD)

Gender: Male (Single/Married)

Age: 18 to 24 years

Height: 5'4" Minimum

Qualification: Matric Pass (Science/Arts) with valid Car/Jeep driving license

◾Branch: Musician

Gender: Male (Single)

Age: 16 to 20 years

Height: 5'7"

Qualification: Matric Science/Arts minimum 50% Marks

◾ Branch: Physical Trainer (PT)

Gender: Male (Single)

Age: 16 to 20 years

Height: 5'7"

Qualification: Matric Science/Arts minimum 60% Marks

◾ Branch: Sanitary Worker (Khakroob)

Gender: Male (Single)

Age: 17 to 21 years

Height: 5'4"

Qualification: Middle Pass

◾Branch: Naib Khateeb

Age: Not more than 35 years

Height:5'.4"

Qualification: Matric with Dars e Nizami Fazal/Faragh sanad.

🚩DAE Holders can also apply for Sailors in Pak Navy

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:Matric (Science ) Aggregate marks minimum 65%

(Diploma Holder from a recognized from a technical board minim 50 % marks)

Age:17 to 22 years

Martial Status:Unmarried

Height:5 feet 4 inches

◾ Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical)

Qualification:DAE Mechanical Technology / Engineering

◾ Mechanical Engineering (Electrical)

Qualification:DAE Electrical Technology Engineering / Mechatronics

◾ Mechanical Engineering

Qualification:DAE Ship Construction

◾Weapon Engineering

Qualification:DAE Electronics

◾ NOTE:B.Tech Degree holders can also apply in Sailors.

◾Step by Step Process Join Pakistan Navy as a Sailor:

Step 1:Course Advertise hoga Newspapers mein.And mostly ye course Year 3 baar announce hota hain 2 baar Techincal and Marines hota hain jabka 3rd Non Technical or diploma holder ka liya hota hai Mostly.

Step 2:Online regiatration Jo apko Joinpaknavy per karne hoge and Form fill karka submit karein ge.Within 3 to 4 days apko test dates issues ho jaein ge some times late bhi hosakta hai.So no need of worry.

Step 3:Apko apna test date ko center report karna hai jahan apka docs verify honge pehla than apko e testing hall le kar jaya jae ga.

Step 4:Apka E.Test ke detail ye hai..

Pattern for Matric Science

1.75 intellegence question 30min

2.75 academic 30 minutes

Academic includes Phy,Chem,Maths and General Knowledge.(mix)

Pattern for Matric Arts

1.75 intellegence question 30min

2.75 academic 30 minutes

Academic includes Eng,General Science,General Maths and General Knowledge.(mix)

Step 4:Those who cleared the Initial test shortlisted Boys will get a call for Physical Test and Medical.

Physical Test Includes:

1).1.6 Km in 8 minutes

2).15 Push ups 2 minutes

3).15 Sit ups 2 minutes

4).4 Chin ups in 2 minutes

◾For Physical Trainer

1).1.6 Km in 8 minutes

2).15 Push ups 2 minutes

3).15 Sit ups 2 minutes

4).4 Chin ups in 2 minutes

Step 5:Then in intial medical whole body is checkuped like ENT,eyesight,Carrying angle,Knock knee,Chest,X Rays,Blood tests etc

Step 5:Those who Cleared Medical will get a Message Of Interview.Initial interview will be basics interview.

Step 6:After Initial interview shortlisted Boys will gets a msg for Personality Test.

Step 7:Personality Test will include..

Personality Test 

1.BioData Form

In bio data form basic detail is filled about you and your family

2.Sentence Completion Test(50 Sentence)

There will be two sets of SCT 25 and 25 both are in urdu.

3.Word Association Test(50 words)

Then there will be WAT words are displayed on a Projector for 10Sec and you 

have to write sentence.

4.Picture story(2 pictures)

Then there will be a picture displayed on Projector and you have to write each 

story in 3 min.

5.Pointer Stories(2 Stories)

An incomplete sentence will be given and you have to write a story.Each story 

should be attempted in 3 min.

Note:Whole Personality Test Conducted in Urdu.

6.You have to write 5 merits and 5 demerits of your self.

7.You have write 5 merits and 5 demerits of your favourite Personality

8.At last there will be incident writting like Unforgetabble incident of your Life etc.

Step 8:Those who cleared Personality test are then called for Naval board Interview.Ye aik detailed interview hoga about 10 to 15 min

Step 9:Then NHQ compiles a merit list on candidates' overall performance.

Step 10:Selected Boys ko via call and Sms inform kiya jae ga PNS Himalyaa report karein matlab temporary selection hoge.

Step 11:Kuch Medical test and documentation ka baad Boys Initial trainning ka liya PNS Himalyaa join karein ge and Unfit Candidates apna gharom ko wapis jain ga.

Step 12:Same process Non Techincal Trades(Marines,Stewards,Naval Polices etc) ka sath wo apna relevant Trainning centers mein Medicals and documentations ka baad Joinning deinga.
